Death of Professor Abdul Qadeer Khan

Obligatory Condolences
The Union of Afro-Asian Universities (UAAU) extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Republic of Pakistan, its government and people, on the death of one of its icons, Professor Abdul Qadeer Khan, who established the nuclear program to serve the renaissance of Pakistan and supported it intellectually, scientifically and economically. He presented an honorable model for renewing alternative energy and achieving sustainable development with the least possible means. He devoted his knowledge to serving his country and humanity as a whole. May God have mercy on him. He was characterized by the morals of scholars in word and deed. We ask God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy on the deceased and to grant him a place in His spacious gardens, as well as our parents and all Muslims.
