The Union of Afro-Asia Universities has inaugurated a new office at Al-Kout University College in Iraq.

By the grace of Allah, the approval of Dr. Talib Al-Mousawi, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Union of Afro-Asia Universities, has been obtained to establish the headquarters of the Union’s General Secretariat in Iraq—specifically at Al-Kout University College in the Wasit Province. This decision is due to Iraq’s geographical position as a midpoint between Asia and Africa. The move aims to facilitate continuous communication between universities on both continents, strengthen cooperation, and promote scientific, cultural, and academic development among the Union’s member universities. This will serve the academic and scientific communities, enhance mutual relationships, and support educational and academic institutions under the Union’s umbrella.
